Security & Fraud Prevention

Guidance on digital safety and verifying communications relating to the Strategic Office and the registered charity.

Important: We never request fees, delivery charges, or sensitive identity documents in exchange for donations or grants.

1. Identifying Genuine Correspondence

Fraudulent messages are sometimes circulated via email and social media claiming to be from The Rothschild Foundation, its Strategic Office, or members of the Rothschild family.

Please note:

  • We do not operate lotteries or offer unexpected cash prizes.
  • We do not send unsolicited investment invitations or “partner access” offers.
  • Strategic Office correspondence uses the domain @therothschildfoundation.co.uk.
  • Registered charity correspondence and public grant enquiries are handled via rothschildfoundation.org.uk.

2. Recruitment Fraud

Fraudsters may pose as recruiters offering employment. We never request payment from job applicants for background checks, equipment, or training materials.

Legitimate vacancies are communicated through official recruitment channels and recognised partner institutions.

3. Reporting Suspicious Activity

If you receive a communication that appears suspicious, do not engage or provide personal details. You may verify the authenticity of any request by contacting our office directly.

If you believe you have been the victim of online fraud, report it to your local law enforcement agency or Action Fraud (UK).

4. Public Records & Verification

This website is operated as the Strategic Office portal for administrative coordination and network communications support.
